Turn off drag and drop editing.

I am currently using Office 2003 with a Windows XP system. Is there a way to
disable or turn off drag and drop editing? This is where you can highlight
text in a message and drag and drop it to another location in the message.
Any suggestions?
TIA

I'm assisting a customer that wants it turned off. I guess just a matter of
personal preference. Is there a way to do this?
TIA

Don't think so; from the looks of it it's basic Windows functionality as it
works in pratically every application.
