tunneling remote server access

Everyone,

I am currently configuring my win2k servers to be accessible from my work
desktop and home. What is a good way to tunnel the connection between my

1. work desktop, and
2. home desktop.

I heard that I could use openSSH or openSSL solutions over VNC, but not sure
which is an easier method to implement.

I would just use terminal services, from the work desktop. From home you
could setup incoming connection on server and use a VPN either pptp or L2tp.
Both are effective.
