tsweb to multiple clients

I used to be able to logon to client machines (inluding the server) through TSWEB, by using the appropriate LAN ip address
but recently something changed and now I cannot. (i.e. server=192.168.1.1 and client is 192.168.1.20, both worked
I have several clients that need this functionality without upgrading to 2003 SBS
Did microsoft change this in an update
Is there any workaround besides upgrading to 2003 SBS

Please help, running out of time.....

Were you on the LAN when you were able to connect to these machines using TSWEB? As in, your ip address was 192.168.1.100, and you pulled up your local web server @ http://localserver/tsweb/ and then typed in the ip 192.168.1.x for the local machine or server you were connecting to. Is that correct? If so, I would look to make sure the default listening port on the client machines and the server has not changed from the default of 3389. Hope this helps

Also make sure that you can connect to these machine with the regular
client software (mstsc)... This will help narrow the problem down to
the active-X control.
