TS Licensing Problems

I have a single 2000 Terminal Server. This server is
running Citrix Metaframe XP. Problem I am running into is
it wont issue any valid licenses to the Thinclient
Terminals. I have other 2000,XP,98 clients and all grab a
valid license. For the Thinclient Termninals it puts them
under Temporary License therefore license keeps expiring
and wont let users login to applications. Note all
Clients use the Citrix Client, we dont use RDP.

Yes, some thin clients have difficulty getting a license (or take a
new one on each connection). Have you tried updating the firmware on
the thin clients?

I have the same situation with Thin Terminals not grabbing
a new license. I've upgraded the firmware on the Thin
Terminals but did not seem to make a difference. MS said
that SP1 or 2 was suppose to resolve this issue. The only
way I can get it to release the expired license is by
rebooting the server. Then I go into Terminal Services
Licensing and refresh all. It takes a few minutes but
will eventually issue a new license.

Do you think reinstalling Terminal Services or the
Licenses would make a difference?

There is a post-SP3 hotfix, included in SP4, which is supposed to fix this.
