TS Client Printing problem

Hi,
I have 2003 Servers, and XP SP22 Client connect to it with RDP 5.2.

the local printer is Xerox 3420 and is connected directly to the network via
the netcard.

the client prints localy to an IP port.

When trying to print from the RDP there are lots of problems, and most of
the time it will not print.

I have been trying to print via diferent driver (HP laserjet 5) with some
success,

but the important things are still not printed.

Allso, I have been trying to connect the printer directly to LPT1 and to
Install it on a diferent 2003 server and to map it
to the local PC with Net Use \\PrintServerName\SharedPrinterName, and still
no success.

** The driver of the printer is installed on the 2003 Server.

I had a similar problem. One of my remote connections has a Officjet
connected to a XP Pro machine. It is shared and the two workstations are
running XP Home. XP Home does an Auto detect of printers on the network. The
friendly name came up as Auto OfficeJet R80xi. When in TS, the remotes
couldn't see the printer. I went into the workstations and manually installed
the printer using the Add New Printer Wizard. After the installation, I
connected to the TS and low and behold the printer was available (OfficeJet
R80xi connected session 1). I hope this helps others.
