Trying to open new pages

Past week or so I have been unable to click and open a site that might appear
in a message I receive. For example, if on ebay i go to click on the item,
but it does not open. s something wrong with my settings?

My mail server is Outlook. I called my internet service provider and they
said it would probably be a Microsoft Outlook problem, since the main message
comes through ok, but I just can't open any content within that message
(usually anything in blue type)

You said "If I go in eBay". Outlook doesn't "go on eBay", a web browser
does.

If Internet Explorer is your web browser, try this: open IE and click
Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Reset Web Settings.

Um, no it's not. Outlook is a mail client, not a server.

does.
