Hi All, I am looking for some advice. I recently reinstalled the OS & Office
XP on a user who's hard drive crashed. The user is using Windows 2000 Pro &
running Office XP Pro. The user is able to access resources on the server
(SBS 2003), along with all their files. The database is on the server & the
user has rights to everything on that folder. When starting the program up,
the user gets an error stating "unable to access the server - make sure you
have access to this resource & try again". I have done the following to see
if this took care of the problem.
Patched up Windows & Office 2003 completely.
Did a Detect & Repair on Office 2003.
Did a uninstall & then a reinstall of office 2003.
Made sure that the security level was not set to high (reset it to medium).
None of these has corrected the problem.
Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Thankyouverymuch!!!
