receive then error message "The software you are
installing has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify
its compatibility with Windows XP. (Tell me why this
testing is important.)

This software will not be installed. Contact your system
administrator.
"

I cant seem to get it to work. I have a high spec machine

Are you installing from the game's CD-ROM? If so, that might be the problem. If not, it may be your video card's drivers. Keep in mind that different versions of drivers usually have performance differences in specific games, or overall. If you're not feeling up to searching for the best one, getting the latest one is usually the best idea. If you have an ATI Radeon card, go to www.ati.com to get the latest drivers. If you have an Nvidia Geforce card, go to www.nvidia.com for the latest drivers.

Have you tweaked your Services? Go into Control Panel/Administrative
Tools/Services and make sure Cryptographic Services is enabled and started.
