Trying to Generating a dump file to solve BSOD issues!

I followed instructions from this link:
http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-611850.php and still not able to
generate a dump file.

"PS. More "hacks" could be done to analyze the problem if the memory dump is
still not created. E.g., when BSOD occurs, you shutdown the device and
explorer the registry offline. There must be a
key[HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CrashControl\MachineCrash]. If it
is not there, it the the kernel fault. If it is there, the savedump.exe
tool's fault."

It looks like it may be the kernel fault but what does that mean?

Do you have EWF protecting the partition containing the crash dump location ?
EWF does not support creation of crash sumps on protected partitions.

No, I am not using EWF partition protection at all.

Problem solved, I was doing a "small memory dump" as oppose to a "complete
memory dump".
