Trusted sites always open in a new window in IE, even from a blank page.

Is there a way to change this behaviour ?

Trusted sites always open in a new window in IE, even from a blank page.

Is there a way to change this behaviour ?

It's because IE7 is changing from Protected to Unprotected Mode, and so
needs a whole new instance of the program. The only way to stop this is by
always running in Unprotected Mode by disabling UAC. I find this annoying
as well, but as soon as you have two instances of IE7 running no more will
open whatever you do.
