Truncated zeros

I am trying to convert a text field to comma delimited but
when I save the file as comma, delimited zeros at the end
of the data are truncated.

How do I convert a text field to CSV, comma delimited
without truncating zeros?

Jim,

it's not the saving to csv that will do that, it is when you open the file
in Excel (or maybe another program)
Test by opening the file in notepad or do as follows, do data>import
external data>import data,
in the file name box type *.*, find the csv file and open it. This will open
the import text wizard,
click next twice and select text under column data format
