Truncated fields when Report analyzed in Excel

Hi there,

I'm having problems when I "analyze" my reports in Excel. Some of the
fields which contain a large amount of data (eg. > 400 characters text) are
truncated. All the data displays when i view the report in Access. However,
when i "analyze"/export to excel, i lose the later portion of the data.

I can still type further characters in the Excel cells, once the data has
been moved, so it doesn't seem to be a limit inherent to Excel.

Can anyone please help???

thx so much!

Hi Allen,

Thanks for your response. Do you know if the "Service Pack" (276367
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/276367/EN-US/) OFF2000: How to Obtain the
Latest Office 2000 Service Pack ) referred to in your second searchable
article is available for MS Access from Office 2003?

This solution sound like it would be best for my puposes, but only if its
available for the version of Access that i'm running.

Thanks!
