Troubled Batch files

Dave

Where I work I am a document writer. I had been using NT
4.0 and I use numberous applications to create online
documents and I have been also working on creating
interactive video tutorials. The problem is that I have
been upgraded to Win2000 Pro with Service Pack 3. I had to
reload all of my applications and now I discovered that I
can not run any .bat files from windows explorer, not even
those normally found in Windows. I use to be able to do
this. I can open the Command Prompt and if I type in the
entire path the .bat files will run. This is not
acceptable for me to do my job in a timely manner. My
local SA said the only way to correct this is to reload
the OS. I have asked him to reload the Service Pack since
I have loaded apps. But he said that wasn't necessary. Can
anyone help me to fix this.......PLEASE

Check your path statement. Control Panel / System / Advanced / Environment
Variables.
