Trouble with Video Card Install when moving HD to new Box

I am in the process of moving a XP Home pre-loaded HardDisk from one Computer to another nearly identical Computer. The problem I am having is a resource conflict on my (Elsa GForce2) Video Card. I am unable to successfully load the Driver. VGA Display Controller is showing resource conflicts (I/O Port and Memory Address) mostly with the Intel 82845 Processor to AGP Controller. I have tried reinstalling the Video Card Driver several times and deleting the conflicts using the Computer Management Tool. The normal Device Manager does not allow me to uninstall VGA Display Controller
I hope to not have to re-install XP

Any help is appreciated
Thanks very muc

Microsoft Video Driver OCA Triage

Go and re-install your motherboard chipset drivers from Intel.com
Let me know if that works for you.....

"nearly identical" - Won't work... You'll have issues. What is the
difference between the two PC's?

Same Box Motherboard, CPU, Network Car
Different VideoCard, Soundcard, CD Rom'

Also, the error message when the video card diriver install fails is:
"An error occurred during the installation of this device. The data is invalid"

What do you recommend?

Hi

You need to boot from the original XP CD and perform a repair installation of XP
After all, you also need to re-activate windows and update all the patches and re-install SP1 or Sp1a (if the XP CD doesn't included SP1)

You probably won't be able to do this. Your pre-installed version of XP is
licensed only to the computer that it was first installed on. Many of the
preinstalled OEM versions are BIOS locked to that computer.
