Trouble using a projector with MM2

I use a little canon ixsus which is primarily a stills camera. However when I used MM1 I would save the movie and then watch on my projector with no problems. However when I finish and save the movie I can watch it normally on my laptop but on the big screen the video footage won't appear even though the audio does. I know it is not the projector. Please help

If you save it as a dv-avi / wmv file which is a video file, you'll need to
set the primary output to that of the projector, as video overlay is
normally only visible on this. Don't forget to sewitch it back after or you
won't be able to see it on the laptop next!!!!
