Trouble! Unlocking VBA project.

I have locked a VBAProject, I know the password however as soon as I
try to unlock it it goes nowhere just hangs. I have 2 other projects
that unlock just fine in the same workbook. Luckly I just finished
saving the code to notepad so it wont be too difficult to recreate.
Would someone like to enlighten me as to why? Can the code within the
project have an impact on the actual project? Should I not password
protect the code? Can someone fill me in.
