Background:
I'm using frontpage 2002 on a windows 2000 server; I have installed
frontpage 2002 server extensions.
1) I'm trying to set up form that e-mails results. Using MS's instructions
I setup the frontpage 2002 server extension for mail (smtp server, and
e-mail addresses). I then used form properties to set the e-mail address
for the form. When I click okay on the form properties, a dialogue box pops
up with the following message: "This form is being created on a disk-based
web or the frontpage server extensions have not been configured to send
e-mail. please direct your system administrator ..'setting up e-mail
options for windows'..." As i stated I have already done this.
I know that the server info is correct because I used the same info in
another program that sends e-mail and it works fine.
2) I have tried having the form save the results to an html file. this
doesn't work either.
I have tried both of these independently and neither works. Note: I have
successfully set up forms to write to an access DB.
any ideas?
