trouble getting an MPEG to run full screen

I am trying to insert an mpeg into my presentation and can't get it to run in
Powerpoint without having to use an action button and run it with media
player. Unfortunately I can't have the media player control box open as it
will mess up the integrity of the presentation. Is there a way to run the
file full screen in PowerPoint with a plugin or is there a way to adjust
PowerPoint to allow it to recognize the media as a viable format to run. The
file is 19 meg if that matters. I am running Office XP and Window XP. I
have 1 gig of ram and a 512 meg video card. The file plays fine in media
player which is version 9.0.

Are you having problems getting the MPEG to run in PPT at all, or is the
problem that it won't run *full screen* in PPT? If you're receiving errors
when inserting the MPEGs into PPT, what is the error message?

What if you go to Start/Run and type mplay32.exe -- does the MPEG run in
that media player?

It works on my laptop, just not my pc. I have to play an mpeg of an american
flag to play during the national anthem so I don't want the media player box
surrounding it.

<sigh>

This information certainly adds to the information you originally posted, as
the question you're posing now is quite different than what you posted
originally. Right now you seem to be saying that you've inserted an MPEG
into a presentation, and the MPEG plays on your laptop but not on your PC.
See, we're not sitting there staring over your shoulder at your monitor, so
you have to actually explain to us exactly what you're doing and what's
happening as a result.

Regardless, we still need an answer to this:
