Trouble Creating New Folder

Hello,
I'm having trouble creating a new folder in My Computer.
Either right clicking or going to File, New, the arrow turns into an
hourglass and locks up for at least a minute, then I can create a new folder.
This never used to happen.
Did I hit something or turn something on/off I shouldn't have?

Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers
