i have a trojan on XP machine. cannot remove, because it runs when XP is on,
which is always. tried going to c:\ in safe mode and del the file, but
because XP is still on, and trojan running, will not delete. could go to
true dos in win98 machines and delete any file you wanted. how to do this
with XP? thanks, cisco13

You didn't ay what the trojan was, but the first step I'd do is see if
there is a dedicated removal tool at one of the AV software publishers
websites.
