Trojan Horse

When I go to a certain website, I get a Norton popup telling me it has
detected a Trojan horse and that it cannot be fixed. it seems to go away
when I leave the site and return when I revisit. Does it make sense that
the problem is with the website and it is not really on my computer, or is
just in a temp file?

How should I deal with this?

Don't visit the website again.

This sounds a lot like the doctor's response when you say "It hurts when I
do this". H/she replies "well, don't do that!".

Is there any need to do a virus scan?

Download Ad-Aware 6.0 and scan your PC for the presence of spyware:

Thanks. The security check says I'm good. I use ad-aware already,
Perhaps, I'll use that tonight and do an AV scan, too.
