I think it's called the hyoid bone.

The one that gets broken if someone strangles you.

no voluteers please... I didn't look it up... just read too many forensic case books :rolleyes:

Yeah Hyoid is the right way its spelt, and is used to support the tongue! :eek:

and im pretty sure the Hyiod bone is the bottom jaw bit or something
