tribes.exe

For the past few weeks, my Win2K server has been running
extremely slow. Whenever I bring up Task Manager and click
on the Processes tab, I'm seeing something calls
Tribes.exe running, which takes up 100% of the server CPU.
I tried to do a search on the file, but no such file on my
local server. When I go to Google and search on this,
Google is referring to some kind of game that uses this
executable file. Any suggestions from any one out there?
Am I being hacked, and they're using my server to play
game? How do I track that? Thank you in advance.

It is the name of a game server program. If you didn't install it, then
someone has access to your server, either physically or otherwise.
(Alternatively, it is another program using the same name.)

Look at what ports are open and what IP addresses the ports are talking to.
"Netstat -a" from a command prompt is one quick way to look, and there are
other programs that give more information.
