Trial Versions, Importing files

I just bought a new computer that came with a "trial" version of Office 2003.
Eventually I will be upgrading to the full Student/Teacher edition. In the
trial version, the import/export item under the File menue is greyed out. I
wanted to import my email from my old machine. Does the trial version not
allow import? If it does, how do I get the import option to be not grey?

Importing is never the correct way to transfer Outlook data. Just open your
previous Outlook data file in another installation to retrieve the data you
want.
