transitional formula entry

In Excel 2007 (for Vista) I cannot find "transition formula entry" which will
allow me to type in formulas without an = sign in front. It is much easier
to be able to fill cells with numbers such as 15+684 without having to type
the = sign each time since the = sign is not on the numeric key pad. Any
ideas on how to set the worksheet to do that?

I don't have 2007 where I am now but I believe it is under Office button
(top left), then excel options, then advanced and finally scroll to "Lotus
navigation keys"" or something like that.

Note that if you have all the transition options checked there is certain
functionality that won't work
like with some date functions etc and ways of getting the end of the month

Thanks so much for your help. It was driving me crazy having to hit = every
time I wanted to add numbers within a cell.
