Transition with music

I created a slide show with 250 photos. I set transitions for automatic at 3
seconds. I have six songs in MP3 format that I want to use during the show.
When I add a song to a slide, the transition no longer works. If I delete
the song, the transition works fine.

I tried taking a working slide from another presentation. As long as I kept
the original song, transition worked fine. If I deleted the original song,
then added a new one, the transitions stopped.

Any idea what is causing the auto transition to stop working?

You need to set up the song so that it plays through more than one slide. To

Right you are! The default setting when adding music is "stop on click"
which I did not bother with during the early stages of producing the slide
show. Once I reset to defined number of slides, it worked. Thanks.
