transfert from Mac Word 5.1

I have a lot of texts done with Word 5.1 on Mac (in the late 90's). I need to
reopen them now. I'm using Word 2004 still on Mac (OS 10.4.4). I can open
them as text only but then i lost all graphics and images included. Try aso
the RTF format = not working well. All other choice are not relevant. I also
try to add the ".doc" extention. No miracle happen !

Is there a trick or a converter that exist to retreive the full content of
my 5.1 old file ?
