Transferring folders from Outlook Express on a desktop to a laptop

We've had Outlook Express running on a desktop in our home for a while. We
just got a new laptop for my wife and want to switch her email account to the
laptop. I've connected the laptop wirelessly with our ISP and set up her
email account in Outlook Express on the laptop with the same email address.
I've created some shared folders between the laptop and desktop. I was able
to transfer the address book from Outlook Express on the desktop to the
laptop but cant figure out how to transfer the Outlook Express folders and
messages to Outlook Express on the laptop. There a way to do that?
