Transferring favorite to IE in XP

I transferred Favorites folder to XP from another
computer running 98. They are in My Documents folder in
XP. THey will not paste or import into IE. If its
because they're Read Only Files, how do I remove that
feature? Any help?

go to your folder and make right click on it and select
properties and click security at the top and do set
permission for yourself.
