transfering photos to computer

I have a Kodak DX7590 digital camera and I normally transfer
pictures to my computer via usb cable. This has worked well for me
for a long time but recently when I attempt this they all download
twice with different image names. I have Windows XP MCE SP3 and I
use Paint Shop Photo Album 5 to download and view pictures. Does
anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

You are supposed to use the program on the Kodak CD to transfer the photos,
alternatively take the memory card out of the camera & plug it into a card
reader attached to the computer.
