Transfering Outlook 2003 distribution groups to Outlook 2000

When I copied several Outlook 2003 distribution groups to another PC running
Outlook 2000, the groups and their contents appear in the Outlook 2000
Contacts Folder. However, in the Outlook 2000 Address Book, the groups appear
but their contents (names + email addresses) are empty. How can I correct
this?
