Transfering Mail

I have a new laptop and I need to move my emails, contacts, etc from my older
computer (Vista, Windows Mail), to my new computer (Vista, Windows Mail).

I am sure it is an simple as moving a file, but I don't know where to start.

Use the File - Export - Messages- Microsoft Windows Mail - (select an empty
folder that you created, and don't create it in one of the old XP standard
"folders", like My Whatever)

Copy them to the new PC via CD/DVD/USB stick/network

and in the other program, File - Import
