Transfer ownership of PST file in Outlook 2007

We'd like to transfer a retiring employee's PST file to his replacement. If
we move his PST file to the replacement's account, will ownership transfer?
The e-mails, for example, were not sent to this (replacement) employee.

Thanks,

That is fine, but I'm not quite sure what you mean by ownership. For
example, do you mean the instant the new employee opens an item in the pst
file it is going to...

1) rewrite to/from data, then no
2) reply/forward items from it, then yes
3) drop new items in it, then yes
4) delete items from it, then yes
5) modify items in it, then yes

I'll check with my System Administrator who brought up the issue. You may
have answered it.
