Tracking public contact activities

We are using Outlook 2000 on a network with MS exchange server. We use the public contacts but when we cannot figure out how to track all of the public contact activities. They activities that each person performed shows up on their personal computer only so there is not a complete list of all calls, emails, etc. made to one public contact. We would have to all print out a report for that contact to show our individual activities to have a full list. Maybe Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager solves this problem?

Outlook does not provide any built-in simple mechanism for maintaining a
public journal or activities list. See
http://www.slipstick.com/journal/pubjournal.htm for a discussion of this
issue and possible solutions.

BCM will not solve this, because it's not a multi-user application.
