Tracking Changes - Strikeouts vs. Bubbles

Guest

When tracking changes in Word, I find having strikeouts displayed instead of
the bubbles in the margin to be much much more helpful. Word 2002 doesn't
seem to do this. Is it possible to get the strikeouts back? If not in 2002,
does Word 2003 give one this option? Are there third party add-ons that
would add this feature to Word 2002?

Thanks.

My experience in Word 2002 (evidently not typical) was that deleted text was
displayed as struck through in Normal view all the time and in Print Layout
view as well when I had balloons disabled.
