Tracking changes, authors names disapears after saving/closing fil

After I add a new comment (my correct name is shown), then if I save the
document and close, then reopen, all the comments show up as A1, A2..... with
no author names. So we can't track who is making comments. Help!
Thanks, E. White

Would help if you said what version of Word you have.

In Word 2002, click on Tools | Options | Security tab | uncheck the
"Remove personal information from this file on save" box | OK.

In Word 2003, click on Tools | Options | Security tab | uncheck the
"Remove personal information from file properties on save" box | OK.

Sorry....I have Word 2007. I see how to do it in 2003, but can't figure out
where the Tools | Options | Security tab| option is for 2007. thanks!

In Word 2007, click on Office Button | Word Options | Trust
Center | Trust Center Settings | uncheck the "Remove personal
information from file properties on save" box | OK.

I'm using Word 2007 and the "Remove personal information from file properties
on save" box is grayed out. I would like to be able to save a document that
has tracked changes from various authors to a document that shows "author"
for all track changes. You were able to do that in Word 2003 by going to
Tools/Options/Security and clicking on "remove personal information from file
properties on save" box.
