Total McAfee Removal to Norton Installation

Pat Miller

Just want to put my 2 cents in the mix. I just went thru removing Norton
after 4 years of good service. They said I had to order and download a new
program as they were not offering renewal of the one had. It was all
downhill after that. It did not work, it caused many problems with my
computer and I could not get tech help. In that I had to buy a new
application I tried sales, and they would not help - just referred me back
to tech support which is non existent.

I settled on OneCare Live by MSFT. It installed easy set up great and has
good features, my computer runs faster and smoother. - I also downloaded
Defender (beta) no cost. OneCare can be installed on up to three computers
for the one charge $50 and I was paying full price for the second one to
Norton. You might give this one a look.

No need to spend any money at all for system security. Zone Alarm Free
Edition is an excellent firewall. AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition is a complete
anti-virus package. Use Spybot Search & Destroy and AdAware SE Personal for
spyware and adware detection, removal and protection. Add Windows Defender
and you have a total protection suite. No cost at all.

Pat,

No inconvenience, I just didn't see the connection and now I know why.
