Toshiba Tecra fails to come back from hibernation

M

Mike Dibble

Toshiba Tecra M4 running windows vista Enterprise.

After tablet sat idle for about and hour, windows did not re-initiate the
display.

Pressed power button to resume hard drive. Hard drive spun up. Sound
re-enabled but still no display.

After waiting for 10 minutes thinking it was going to take a little time.
Nothing....

Tablet came back to life after a COLD shut down and re-powering the tablet
back on.

I've had that happen on this computer, but not on my other one. I still have
to go into power options and tell it not to hibernate or go to sleep,
because it won't wake up. With XP on this system, it can hibernate all it
wants, and when I move the mouse, it wakes up.
