[toshiba PC] [equium 5160D] keyboard & mouse not detected

K

Kanel naajo

Hi All,

During the boot, the bios displays "keyboard not detected" then the boot
process goes on.
1 min. later, the PC displays a splash "Windows 98" and hangs at the error
message "mouse not detected", waiting for return; this bloody thing !

The video port on the mother board is OK, yet.

Is there any way to finish the boot or correct the problem of detection ?
any suggestion ?

I do not want to throw away the PC for this issue.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you perchance recently switched to a USB keyboard and mouse?
