Tools update after Multiple QFE's applied.

I've run into a Dev system with XPE SP1 + many QFE's and other updates from
the MS ECE site applied. It's not quite a full SP2 system and would not let
me install FP2007.

That being the case, I tried to install SP2 full upgrade fron CD. This did
not work properly. Do I need to uninstall all the QFE's and otehr minor
updates to get SP2 to work?

Or should I just start over, XPE SP1 --> XPE SP2 --> FP 2007 --> SP3?

Any advice?

SP2 should install on what you have. What do you mean by SP2 install didn't
work properly?
