One of the things that's galled me for years about the miserable documentation Microsoft provides (I'm a technical writer so I'm highly sensitive to flaws in product documentation) for Word is that there has never been any explanation in the online help or What's This help for the different incarnations of "Suppress extra line spacing..." on the Compatibility tab of the Options dialog box. What the hell are the distinctions between them?? If anybody knows what the differences are or can point me to somewhere I can look it up, I'd appreciate it.
