tools menu missing from outlook 2003

Hi all. I am using outlook 2003. When i compose a new message i found that my
tools menu is missing. How can i get it back? Thks in advance.

What do you mean by "tools menu" - the Standard Toolbar? If so, Alt-V,
Alt-T, Enter.

When you are composing a new message, at the top you can see "File", "Edit",
"View", "Insert", "Format", "Tools" etc. My problem is, my "tools" menu is
missing. Thks in advance.

Just to clarify: the 'Tools' button is there, but there is no drop-down
menu?

Not sure how this can be repaired; I would try a 'Repair install' from
Add/Remove Programs.

Are you using Word or Outlook as the email editor?
Locate outcmd.dat and rename it to .old to reset your toolbar.

You can also try to reset the menu via;
View-> Toolbars-> Customize...
