Toolbar options

I've just installed Office2007 on my new computer: for some reason,
2007Publisher (bless its little heart!) has the same toolbars and basically
the same look as its 2003 predecessor. It's got a single toolbar at the top,
with File, Edit, Insert, etc. at the top, then the extra toolbars following.
But my Word, Excel, and PowerPoint have the new toolbars and options for
Home, Insert, Page Layout, References, etc., one on top of the other, with
tabbing. Is there any way I can change those three programs so that their
toolbars look like the old ones, using the View options or something? It
would make things so much simpler. Thanks!

Office 2007 applications that use the new ribbon interface do not
include a built-in ability to change back to the old menu interface.
But there are many third-party add-ins that allow you to do this (ask
Google). One of my fellow MVPs has developed an add-in for Word 2007 to
mimic the old menu interface... there are two versions, a free one and a
paid one with more features... see
http://pschmid.net/office2007/ribboncustomizer/index.php for more
information.
