toolbar is gone

I just had an interesting thing happen. My main toolbar where the start
button is has somewhat disappeared. The quick launch toolbar is still there,
but that is the only one I can see. I am not able to see the toolbar that
shows the open programs. I am able to Alt+Tab between the programs, but
can't see the toolbar. It is almost like the quick launch toolbar is hiding
it. I don't have the toolbar locked, but when I adjust it just adjusts the
quick launch.

Can you click and drag the QuickLaunch to the right or left?

I have the "dotted line" like I would be able to, but it doesn't move. I
have tried clicking lock toolbar and then unlocking it, and still nothing.

Weird. Don't know what to tell you, sorry, unless you have "auto-hide
taskbar" selected in the taskbar properties.
