too many different cell format

Hi.I encounter this error,"too many different cell format" when doing my
Excel file and i save and close it.Now i can't open my file anymore as
everytime i open it up, it keeps giving me the error message "too many
different cell format". Is there any thing i can do to open my file
again? I'm using Excel 97.
