To fight spam, Outlook should show hyperlinks & flag mismatches.

This is a suggestion for Microsoft Outlook.

To fight spam, Outlook should reveal hidden and mismatched hyperlinks. We
all receive fake e-mails from E-Bay, PayPal, Credit Card Companies, etc. made
to look like the real thing, telling us to verify account details or log in
or whatever. We should be able to right-click on hyperlinks and see where
that link will really take us. Or hover the mouse over the link and have
Outlook display the real hyperlink. To see it now you have to select "View
Source" and hunt through the HTML to see the real link.

Outlook could also have an option to somehow flag or highlight mismatched
hyperlinks, when the displayed text of the link has a real-looking web
address but the real hyperlink is different.

At a minimum, it would make it easier for me to identify fake e-mails.

Already there;
-Hovering on a hyperlink in a HTML formatted message shows the URL; no need
to hunt it down in the source
-Outlook 2003 + SP2 has a phishing filter as well. As soon as it has
detected that the message is suspicious it is being converted to Plain Text
-Additionally it does spam filtering as well
