Thinking of adding a blog or bulletin board within a FP web.

What really is the difference?

What I mean to say is that - to me - a bulletin board is messages - or
posts - within threads - or topics -saved within a database. Those threads
are then called back to the browser via a server side script like PHP or
ASP.

How does a blog differ from a BB?

Thanks for any help.

"blog" is short for Web Log (weBLOG) isn't it? so in other words sort of like:
a "diary" or logbook as in "Captain's log star date 95895.1".....

But on the other hand yes, a blog could well be in teh form of a message
board.

And most blog software includes a way for viewers to add comments to any
entry.

Roger that, Kathy. (Regina that? Roberta that? Raquel that?)My preference would be Raquel! :) and I am sure that Kathy would rank
right up there too.
