Usually means a corrupt profile.
Create a new one.
If you have an extensive autocompletion cache that you want to reuse, set
that NK2 file to match the name of the new profile.

Hi Russ

Thank you for that kind suggestion. Since no one replied for some time I did
a lot of searching and came to the same conclusion, but of course now i have
to start adding names all over again.! Although Im, not sure if i;'ll know
how to Ill certainly follow the second part of your suggestion too.

It WOULD be great if I didnt have to type them all in again. Is it really
the case that if my email names exceeds 1000 i have to trash the file and
start aoll over again? How awfully limiting. PL<EASE tell MS to sort that one
out pronto.!!

Regards,

Dom

p.s\if i simply rename NK2 files wont i get BACK the old corrupted file and
its failing "auot-complete" missing features

Each profile starts with a new, blank NK2 file. But it's easy to reuse your
old one by simply deleting the new NK2 file and renaming your old one to
match the new profile's NK2 file (be sure Outlook is closed when doing so).

I've hardly seen any requests to expand the limit to over 1000. Microsoft
wouldn't listen to me. They might to you. You can send Outlook feature
requests to http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp
