Tim, i understand the reference to "in line" as opposed to email attachment.
but what do you mean by "full headers"? do you mean the "From:", "To:", and
"Subject:" lines? or something else that should be included in the email?

From your headers, you used Outlook Express to post your message 8)
I'm afraid I don't know how to set Outlook to display full headers as I
use Netscape. Perhaps somebody else can help you out, sorry 8(

For example, full headers on your last post would be (don't worry this
is publicly available - it's just that most folks turn off "full
headers" for routine browsing):

Hi Steve,
Comments inline
Today I received over 1000 bounced emails. Arno R and his goons are sending
mass emails with my email address to fictitious addresses and they are
bouncing back to my inbox. DO NOT tell me this could be a virus because it
has been verified that IT IS NOT!! I have also been receiving other unwanted
email at my office from Arno R and other forms of harassment at my office
from Arno R and his goons.

IF this fairy-tale about emails-to-the-office is at all true, I guess it is only you who gave somebody an idea??
Remember: Even yesterday I asked you to show me ONE unwanted email...
But IF it is true, it is *not me* buddy, and none of my so-called goons AFAIK.
I am convinced that we are too much civilized to do so.
I will begin posting full page advertisements in the newsgroups unless all
the following is done immediately:
1. Arno R and his goons stop sending fictitious emails with my email
address
2. Arno R stops sending emails to my office
3. Arno R and his goons stop all other forms of harassment at my office

Again: It is *not me* buddy...
I don't know who this might be. But it is simple enough to do though ...
Hmmm... just got an idea: Bet you will like a chain letter about you...??
4. The slanderous website about me is shutdown permanently

Would be a pity...wouldn't it ?
Although the website is doing good (> 125 first-time-visitors until now)...
I don't think enough of your *potential* customers have seen the website yet.
Btw: Are you finally 'getting it' Steve??
Are you finally understanding that this website might indeed cost you money??
5. All tracking of my posts to the newsgroups stops immediately

We *will* track your posts!!
But all that is needed is a link to the website as soon as you have posted here.
http://home.tiscali.nl/arracom/whoissteve.html (soon to be updated ...)

No arguing, no shouting, no name-calling is needed, just the link.
For the rest I think you are to be ignored!!
As I already said in the ms.public.access.gettinggstarted group:
"Everyone is FREE to use the link".
6. All subversive responses to my posts to the newsgroups stops immediately

If you post a nonsense answer I guess someone will correct you.
If you call that subversive??

<snipped sort of a real frightening threat and advertising>

Personally, I'm a bit unclear about whether I count as a goon or not. What
are the qualifications necessary and is there any kind of certification
required?

I think just the intention to have "Dúirt mé leat go raibh mé breoite"
engraved on your headstone ;o) I'm now confused as to whether I'm supposed
to be a Goon or a Dimwit or both.

Right-click the message and choose "properties", then the "details" tab.

You need to get a dictionary. Considering the amount of libelous things you
have posted, I thought you would at least know the
difference between slander and libel. Considering the webpage in question
also includes links to copies of newsgroup posts as
proof of the allegations, I can not see how you can claim the statements as
being false.

FYI - I just posted a new VB app at www.spamPCDatasheet.org which fixes
the problem of only sending out 1,000 emails. We should be able to send
out the 10,000 that we discussed during our weekly conference call. Hope
everyone is looking forward to our 2006 Annual Meeting here in Orlando.

I'm pretty sure I'm a dimwit but maybe I can be both?

Check out the requirements to be a goon at
www.spamPCDatasheet.org/membership/goons.html

The certification exam will be held on the 2nd day of the 2006
Conference so that we can have them scored in time for the closing
ceremonies. The Deadline to apply is this Friday.

Whoa! That's not funny. I don't know anything about sending any spam mail
to anyone, nor anything about a conference call. I know absolutely nothing
about the spam mail that Datasheet claims to have gotten. I don't know why
you would suggest otherwise.

Steve,
I recognize the first reference and I stand by the fact that I would not
have criticized you in the public news group for offering paid assistance in
that particular thread under those conditions. This doesn't mean that I
would agree with advertising, only that I would not have taken the time to
publicly criticize a poster under those conditions.

I have no idea what the rant following "And how about this one --" I can
assure you that if anyone else began blatantly advertising, they would get
similar criticism from me and others.

And how about this one --

Yep, and this was after your posts a few months ago that said to the
effect that some of PC's posts/responces were misleading because the
person
would not know that for more extensive help there would be a charge for
it.
I thought this was a bogus and still do, people can figure that out for
themselves.
Just like the links that others have supplied to their webstsites,
people will know that for more extensive help there will be a price. For
example: I have not yet seen a comment from you about Kevin Hill of 3NF
Consulting. Do you really think that anybody that goes to the
"Newsgroups"
(that is not a newsgroup listing) page think that any furthur help is
free.
One link on there is only emil, but the other is for phone support at 1.39
per minute, and of course they can go to the menu items for services,
pricing, etc.
(Name omitted so Arno R and his goons could not attack him)

And how about ---
Larry Linson asked me some time ago if I would subcontract to him some of
the work I was doing for people from the newsgroups who came to me for
help

out of place in public news groups". Are you suggesting that you will do

So what? What did they have to say about your spamming this group, or
didn't you mention it? Is there really such a thing as an "Internet Fraud
Engineer"?

I can offer you full training and certification in becoming a goon. Please
contact me, and we can discuss some reasonable fee for this training. For an
extra fee, you can also become trained and certified in being a dimwit.

It *is* really bad HTML-code, but the info and the links provided are both good don't you agree?
We think it is important that people 'get the message'.

I am satisfied with the website for now. IMO it's not slanderous at all...
It is a sad story... would be slanderous if it would not be true.

I might ask here for some help to make the website more like a comic book.
But I guess it is not needed. You are making a fool of yourself again and again already.

Hi PC Goons,

IMO you are a goon for stripping this post's newsgroups! ;-)

So WHY is this offer not available for comp.databases.ms-access readers??
Or is this some sort of Microsoft-only certification?

Question:
Can one become an Goon-MVP or Dimwit-MVP?
(Would be nice... Steve really hates all sorts of MVP's.

I couldn't say about that, but there is an address to report abuse shown in
the headers of Steve's posts. You'll need to view and copy the headers in
order to complain, anyway.
