Timestamp And Store Cell Value

Hello,

I have some data that comes into a spreadsheet via the DDE, an
subsequently some macros take that data and come up with, after variou
calculations, values. Which are displayed in about 8 cells. As the dat
flows in, the values in these cells change. I would like to be abl
to,

Anytime the data in one of these specific 8 cells changes, timestamp i
(what time it was when it changed) and then store that time stamp AN
what that value was, either somewhere else in that workbook, or t
another sheet in that workbook, whatever, doesn’t really matter. A
long as I can at the end of my workday, I can go into it and look a
what the values were at any specific time.

There are about 8 cells I would like to apply this to.

So for example:

A1,B1,C1,D1,E1,F1,G1,H1

Any time the value that was in these cells changed, I would like th
value itself and what time it was that the value changed store
somewhere else in the worksheet or workbook.
I think I explained that well.

I expect that the data in each cell could change up to 20-30 times
minute. That’s the high end. So it would be a lot of timestamping.
would have the spreadsheet running for about 7-8 hours per day. Eac
day could be it’s own spreadsheet.

Can this be done?

Please help.

Franco

Oh, and Excel 2000 if that matters
